Camping

This was actually quite a while ago, but I'm just barely finding the motivation to post again! We were able to go camping at the end of the summer with our friends who live two houses down, and we had a blast. We just went down by Payson which isn't very far away, but it was so nice not to have to drive 2 hours to get there!

Isaac had a blast. All the kids were so dirty by the end, but I guess that's just the whole idea of camping!
The other three adults went fishing (I opted out of that one) Melanie (the mom of the other family) was the only one who caught anything, but they all had fun just casting and reeling it back in. Isaac had more fun just throwing rocks into the water. Which probably contributed to the lack of catching fish.
We of course brought our little raft. We even bought a second oar for it, so now you can actually steer where you're going in the thing! Isaac loved being out in it with dad. He especailly loved trying to paddle. Though I doubt he was much help. The other kids loved going out with their dad as well.
And of course, the kids also loved just playing in the mud on the shore. Like I said, they were all so dirty! But we had a blast. We're so grateful to have good friends to share good times with!

This time we're sure...

Well, the suspense is over. Actually it's been over for a few days, I've just been to busy to scan in the picture. But we know for sure that we are having a girl this time. Here is the photographic proof! When the lady told us it was a girl, I asked her, "Now, how sure are you about that?" She said 100%, and I feel pretty sure about it as well! Isaac seemed to know all along it was a girl. Every time we would ask him if it was a boy or a girl, he would say a girl. But we are very excited. Now we can use all the girl clothes that we've saved!

Isaac Birthday

Even though it was a few months ago, Isaac did have a birthday. He is now two, and loved having family here on his birthday. He got lots of great presents and and awesome cake to boot!

This one was too big to wrap, so we just put it under a blanket. He was very excited to find out what was underneath!

He loved opening his presents and finding out what they were.
He now has his very own piggy bank, and I have to say, he has a lot of money stored up already thanks to his generous grandparents. He just likes dropping the coins in, but doesn't have a clue what they mean!

A belated thank you to all of our family members who helped make Isaac's birthday special for him. For a long while after he was saying, 'Isaac's birthday?' in hopes of more presents!
