I am not very good at doing much on here except putting up pictures, so I thought I would put some real information on here as to how we are doing. Right now Brandon and I are both in school, and Brandon is working for BYU Broadcasting. He really likes he job which I can't explain very well. But he works with keeping up their storage system and such. His official job title is system integration specialist, but basically he just does whatever needs to be done. He works with another student, and then full time employees. He is currently training a new student so there will be 3 of them which will be really nice for them. He is always super busy at work. But like I said, he really likes it, and is getting great experience.
He is in his third year of the IT program here at BYU, and is loving his classes this semester. Partially because they are easy, and partially because he is learning some 'cool things' according to him. He is always excited to come home and tell me all about what he is doing in school and in work. I just feel bad I don't really understand it all, but I can smile and nod! He has about 2 years left in his undergrad, if things work out. He is only taking part time credits while I finish school so he can be home with Isaac some of the time. (And Isaac loves it when Dad is home all day!) But hopefully things will work out so he can finish in a relatively decent time.
I am in my third semester of the nursing program, with only 2 more after this. I feel like I have been in school forever! This is technically my senior year, but because of the way things worked out, I'm still here plugging away. But I guess it's all worked out for the best. This semester I am in pediatrics and labor and delivery, which is really fun for me. I want to go into pediatrics, and I wouldn't mind labor and delivery either, so it's a good semester! But I can not wait until I'm done!
Isaac is still doing great. He is walking everywhere, just exploring the world. He is a little shy of strangers, actually very shy. He cried for a full hour and a half at a friends house who was watching him while we were at school. But otherwise he is a happy kid who loves to laugh. He is getting really good about saying please and thank you when we ask him to. And sometimes he does it on his own. Mostly when he wants something, he'll say please. It is so cute, just too bad we don't always know what it is he wants. He's learning though and getting so much more interactive.
Anyway, that is what we are up to. Life is crazy but good. The Lord blesses us so much, and we are so grateful for it.

On the Go...
Isaac is officially walking everywhere! And most of the time (at least at home), he has his stuffed monkey in tow, looking something like this...
One of his favorite past times presently is keys and locks. Our file cabinet has a lock on it, and we randomly have a little key, so Isaac loves to stand there and try and get the key into the lock. He will seriously stand there for 5 min trying it. It's really fun to watch.
And of course, I have to mention scooters and motorcycles. This kid is in love with them. If he hears one going by, he will stop whatever and try and find it. When he does see one, he gets sooo excited, pointing and shouting 'that, that!' Dad's scooter is his favorite, and he loves to sit on it and try pushing buttons. He especially likes it when dad turns it on and lets him honk the horn. I am definitely seeing some type of bike in this kids future. It's a good thing he has good examples to help teach him!
He wishes he could go for a ride!
New Additions
Well, we were in need of more space to put our books etc, so we went garage saleing, and we found a hutch for our desk, but not much else. This is how we purchased it....
And this is what it now looks like, about 10 in shorter! Brandon and his friend Nate spent all day Sat working on this and our bookshelf. It doesn't look too bad if I do say so myself!

Goodbye Paul
Well, our little pet didn't last very long. We came out one morning and he was on his side at the bottom of the tank. (I thought fish usually floated to the top once they had passed on, but I guess not Paul.) But, that's the good thing about fish, they're easy to replace. Once we get a new fish I'll put up pictures of it. But no pictures of Paul's passing. He was pretty gross and bloated. And he just got flushed down the toilet. Nothing exciting... So far Isaac hasn't even noticed he's gone!
Farm Country
We went to a little petting Zoo that's up in Lehi for our Labor Day weekend. Isaac loved looking at the animals, but when it came to actually petting them, he wasn't too excited. As you can see from the second picture. If it was bigger then him, he wasn't very excited about getting too close. The smaller animals he was okay with, and the plastic ones! But overall we had a great time. We rode in a horse drawn carriage which Isaac did enjoy. And I sure loved petting all the animals! It was definitely worth $3.50!

No worries, we're not horrible parents. Brandon was right behind the cow!
This was our effort to get him to pet a donkey!

My first Haircut!
Isaac finally had his first haircut about a week ago. It was not an easy task by any means, and it still isn't really perfect (okay, not at all perfect!). He has random long hairs everywhere and the edges are not even close to being even. But, from a distance you can't tell, and he looks super cute! He looks so much older now, and it is 10x easier to keep his hair clean.
This was Isaac before the haircut, he was helping me comb through his hair to get all the tangles out!

These are the aftershots. Isaac next to his pile of hair on the floor, and the finished product sitting happily on Dad's lap.

The video isn't super great, I didn't realize my arm was in the way, but it's the best we got!

This is what he does when you ask him how old he is. Of course, he only does it sometimes, and it usually takes some promting, but it's way cute!

My Room
Since Cameron moved out, Isaac now has his own room and he is loving it! Here are some pictures of his room.
